Most asked questions
How do you manage to travel the world? 🌍
Very carefully.. lol. I’m by no means wealthy so I do take advantage of utilizing travel points/miles that I’ve thoughtfully racked up over the years with my travel credit cards. I also gave up my apartment so I could essentially live (almost) anywhere in the world in Airbnbs for what I paid for in rent in L.A.
Do you work while traveling? 🤔
Yes, of course. I’m really lucky that my work as a digital marketer allows me to essentially work from anywhere in the world. Of course there’s a certain amount of discipline and pre-planning required. It’s not always easy but I do understand how lucky I am.
Do you eat out every day while traveling? 🍕
Great question and NO! As a digital nomad I’m usually buying groceries at each location so I can cook at home some days, while also enjoying the food in some cities I’m visiting. Especially if there’s something in particular I want to try. This really not going over budget while travelng because groceries are really inexpensive (compared to the U.S.) in most places I’ve been to abroad (with the exception of Switzerland), even after the exchange rate. At least this has been my experience as of 2024.
What camera do you use? 📷
My trusty iPhone! I’m by no means a professional photographer or videographer but I do have *some* experience and basically started capturing scenes and moments so I can re-live them. Eventually I thought it might be nice to also have them published online, aside from to my friends on social media.
What low budget destinations do you recommend? 💸
Portugal is probably the most popular answer, but honestly my favorite go-to is FRANCE! Most people don’t realize just how inexpensive France is outside of Paris and maybe Saint Tropez. You can find affordable accommodations anywhere from the Normandy or Brittany area to the south of France. Fresh baguettes run €1, coffee is €1-2 and glasses of wine for €5 or less.
